ABOUT ME

I am a recent first-class graduate from the University of Bristol with a BA in Film and English and an additional credit for the Bristol PLUS Award for working in the film industry outside of my academic career.

I have always been passionate about the world of creation and storytelling. What, to me, matters most is our ability as writers, filmmakers, and artists, to feel with the audience. Being a screenwriter gives me the opportunity to provoke the audience to feel certain ways and to interrogate their perspective.

My writing centres themes around shame, failure, and connection. With experience in screenwriting, script editing, adaptation, working on set, and post-production, I am fascinated with how to translate the intangible through visual formats within every stage.
