Although I work mostly on digital, I have trained in learning to use ‘analogue’ filmmaking techniques and photochemical film. This knowledge has only reinforced my love for the medium: learning practical effects, understanding more about lighting, and searching for images that capture souls.

Portals is a short work I completed using images made with my group when I attended St Ives Film School. We went off around the area searching for ‘windows’ — literal & metaphorical. I then overlapped it with a poem which I wrote using these images.
